Das weiß ich seit der Rückkehr in meine Geburtsstadt Würzburg im Jahr 2003 - als ich mich neu verliebt habe in dieses Stück Land, das so viel zu bieten hat. Daran möchte ich auch Sie teilhaben lassen. Als nach europäischem Standard DIN EN zertifizierte Gästeführerin für die Region Würzburg und für "Weinerlebnis Franken" stelle ich Ihnen gerne all die Schönheiten und Genüsse meiner Heimatregion vor - ganz individuell nach Ihren Wünschen und bei Bedarf auch auf Englisch und Chinesisch. Bei Stadtführungen in Würzburg und Ausflügen ins Weinland und in Frankens historische Städte erleben Sie mit mir die Kultur dieses Landes, lernen lauschige Plätze, interessante Winzer und hochklassige Weine kennen, oder entdecken die Architektur moderner Weingüter. Als Dozentin für Wein- und Genusskultur halte ich Seminare für Wein- und Sektfreunde oder auch für gastronomisch Engagierte.
Was ich selbst am liebsten trinke? Fränkischen Weißwein, Sekt oder Selters! In flüssigem Zustand wäre ich sicher ein 1964er Riesling "Großes Gewächs" vom Würzburger Stein: In Franken verwurzelt, in der Welt gereift und im Würzburger Terroir zuhause.

Information about myself: It took several excursions through the world before I returned to my hometown Würzburg in 2003. My profession is as an official tour guide for the city of Würzburg and for “Weinerlebnis Franken” wine tours, and as a free-lance journalist and foreign language trainer. I have been a member of the German Tour Guide Association since 2003 and am qualified according to the European Standard for professional tourist guides (DIN EN). I also offer tours in English and Chinese.
One could call me a “tall vine” (1,80 m) of the vintage 1964 – deeply rooted in the Franconian Wine Country, but seasoned in other parts of Germany to be planted for good in home territory. My favourite drinks are Franconian white wines, sparkling wines and selters.
My favourite saying: “Hurry, come fast! I am drinking stars!” – words the french monk Dom Pérignon exclaimed more than 300 years ago when he tasted in his wine cellar what was to be the world’s very first champagne…
